In his early years in the university, a young man named Jake
Sacks developed so much interest in the treatment of psychiatric ailments in a
different and rare method believed to be extremely unique. This young and
determined man observed the increasing demand for psychiatric doctors and lack
of adequate treatment strategies as well as high fees demanded from the
patients which of course is the biggest problem. Actually, Jake however took
his ambition with him wherever he finds himself and this led him to opt for
psychiatric training at the Medical School of University of Colorado Denver
where he finished his bachelor degree in medicine.
As a man who knows
exactly what he want for the future and the best way to achieve the goal, he
immediately started showing his emotional feeling towards psychiatric patients
during the few years spent in the residency, at Bellevue Hospital to be
precise. After acquiring enough skills and experience in his chosen career,
Jake Sacks realized it was time to embark on his long time ambition of
rendering selfless services to the people.
By creating Jack Sacks MD to
provide best treatment and affordable medicine to patients, he felt fulfilled
but not totally satisfied with the high price of psychiatric treatment and
prescription which most of the patients found very difficult to pay. Settling of expensive medical bills, lack or
inadequate of qualified doctors and marginalization of psychiatric patients are
some of problems facing people in this category which he hope to regulate and
of course he did.
However, the treatment of psychiatric patient without
medication has always been his aim. He later became a psycho-analytic therapist
using non-medication method of treatment after studying at the prestigious San
Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. Jake is a naturally emotional person and
feels helpful whenever he is needed. His charitable character helps him to
adapt to the medical profession and to psychiatric field in particular.
Jake’s
attitude of getting closer to patients not just as a doctor but in a friendly
manner has been his greatest skill among others and has also been his secret to
success. While working as a psychiatric consultant at the UCSF/San Francisco General
Hospital, he realized his goal of having the privilege of treating large
numbers of patients suffering from various psychiatric conditions.
